Telephone Numbers
When registering your new number you allocate a physical existing telephone number that all calls will be routed to in the UK or abroad. Once in place, any calls to the new number will be seamlessly diverted to your nominated line without the customer hearing any automated messages.
As all our telephone numbers mean you are not tied to a fixed telephone line, it remains yours for life no matter how often you move office. Diverts can be re-routed to a different number should you move or change your land line telephone number. This enables your customers to reach you on the same number forever.
The 08 Non-Geographic numbers
08 numbers are non-geographic and give your company a national presence and professional image. They are designed to attract new business and maximise advertising response. With 0800 and 0845 numbers you pay for part of the in-coming call costs, however this is justified by the increased response generated from potential customers. There are several sub-families of 08 telephone numbers, each with unique characteristics and tariffs:
- 0800telephone numbers - UK Free phone numbers.
- 0845 telephone numbers - UK Local Rate numbers.
- 0871 telephone numbers - UK National numbers.
020 Local Area numbers
0207 London numbers give the impression that you do business from central London. Numbers such as 0208, 0161, 0141, or any other local prefix are local, city specific telephone numbers. If you are based abroad these numbers can imply your presence in the UK market.
