The Certificate of Incorporation is the official document that is proof that the company was incorporated and will include the company name, company registration number, date of incorporation and the statute under which the company is incorporated.

This document does not show the current status of the company. If you require a document showing the current state of the company you will require a Certificate of Good Standing.
